Epson XP-410 Scanner Error an issue that arises with epson scanners where the scanner application fails to scan any documents. This issue can be traced back to a number of different reasons ranging from problems in the scanner driver to incorrect network configurations.
Epson XP-410 Scanner Error Not Turned On
Make sure your scanner’s power cord is properly connected to your Epson XP-410 printer and that it’s securely attached to the scanner and that the power outlet is working.
Make sure the power outlet is working. If necessary, test by plugging in another electrical device and turning it back on.
Epson XP-410 Cannot Start Scan
Turn off the scanner and the computer, then check the interface cable connection between them to make sure it’s safe. Then use the USB cable that came with your scanner.
The scanner may not work properly when connected to a computer through more than one USB hub. Make sure that your computer supports USB. Windows USB Support Checker. If you are using a program that supports TWAIN, such as ScanSoft PaperPort, make sure the correct scanner is selected as the Scanner setting. If you are upgrading your computer’s operating system, you will need to reinstall Epson Scan. Uninstall and redownload Epson Scan, then reinstall the Epson XP-410 software.
Start Button Does Not Start The Correct Program

Click the Events tab in your scanner Properties window and make sure Take no action is not selected. Also, make sure the Start Button is selected in the Select events list box, and Start this program is selected. See Assign a Program to the Start Button for details. Windows 2000 : Click the Events tab in your scanner’s Properties window and make sure the Disable device events box is unchecked. Also, make sure the Start Button for details.
